PREPARATION OF MANUSCRIPT

The manuscript should include:

1) Title, which is brief (under 120 characters) and accurately reflects the content of the publication. Below the title should be the name(s) and surname(s) of the author(s) with affiliation details including the city and country.

2) Information about the authors (published after the references). Each author should give full name and surname, affiliation details, work address and e-mail; academic degrees, position and department are optional. Author names should be transliterated in the same way as in previous publications or according to BGN (Board of Geographic Names) system, see details at http://www.translit.ru.

The abstract is the main source of the information about the article and is indexed in Russian and international data bases. The abstract is available at the Journal web-page and is indexed by Internet search systems. The abstract should allow the full understanding of the research goals and introduce the main text as a source of more detailed information on the research. Abstract should convey the most important aspects of the research.
The following structure of the abstract is recommended: Background, Aims, Materials and Methods, Results, Conclusions. The main field of research should be given only if it is not understandable from the Title; the methodology should be given in detail only if it presents the scientific novelty and is characteristic of the research. The abstract should not exceed 150-250 words (1500-2000 characters).

4) Key words: 3 to 10 key words that will contribute to the correct cross-indexing of the publication. Use terms from the Medical Subject Headings, as given in Index Medicus (if this list does not have appropriate notation for recently introduced terms, choose the closest available).

5) References. The reference list should include all papers cited in the text in accordance with NLM guidelines (National Library of Medicine)

Text structure

All manuscripts should include Introduction, Main text, Conclusions, and References. Original research should include Introduction, Material and Methods, Results, Discussion, and References.

Tables, figures with figure legends should be provided on separate pages.

The Methods section should include all details on statistical analysis of experimental and/or clinical data.
