To the question of spermatozoa mobility evaluation adjusted for MAR-test results

Al-Shukri S.H., Boronets S.Y., Fanardjan S.V.

Abstract

MAR-test (Mixed agglutination reaction) performs in order to determinate the sperm antibody - Ig G, A and/or M in ejaculate. We calculated the spermatozoa mobility adjusted for MAR- test results. Finally the new approach to the normal MAR- test criteria interpretation in case of spermatozoa mobility parameters between 32 % and 35 % was found out. Even if indicators of spermatozoa mobility are within the range of its normal values - 32, 33, 34 and 35%, the astenozoospermia takes place at values of MAR- test more or equal then 2, 5, 7 and 10% respectively. Finally the range of MAR-test parameters from 0 to 10 % cannot be estimated as a standard normal value if the number of progressively active forms of spermatozoa less than 35 %.

Tkachuk V.N., Al-Shukri A.S., Tkachuk I.N.

Abstract

Goals and objectives: evaluate the efficacy of Sonirid Duo the combination of tamsulosin and finasteride in patients with BPH. Patients and Methods: Sonirid Duo was prescribed to 46 patients with BPH for 12 months. Mean age was 63,7 ± 4,4 years. Patients were examined before treatment and at 1, 3, 6 and 12 months after starting treatment. Take into account the dynamics of the clinical manifestations of the disease on the scale of IPSS and QoL, urination parameters according uroflowmetry, prostate volume, residual urine in the bladder after urination and PSA. The results showed the effectiveness of the drug in patients Sonirid Duo BPH. By the end of the treatment the severity of clinical manifestations of the disease on a scale IPSS decreased from 18.7 ± 1.9 to 7,8 ± 0,8 points, the quality of life on a scale of QoL improved from 4,4 ± 0,2 to 2,0 + 0,2 points, maximum urinary flow rate increased from 8,3 ± 0,5 ml/s to 12,9 ± 0,4 ml and prostate volume decreased from 75,1 ± 4,9 cm3 to 56,2 ± 4 4cm3. Conclusion: Sonirida Duo is a highly effective treatment for patients with BPH.
