SCREENING EVALUATION OF HARMONIOUS DEVELOPMENT OF GIRLS’ SKELETON

Abstract

The study of anthropometric parameters and indexes in groups, formed according to the canon of proportionality, was carried out. Three groups were formed, which differed significantly from each other. In most of 68,5% of the examined students the ontogenetic maturation was completed. In 31,5% of girls, whose arm span exceeded growth, the proportions are able to be changed under the influence of external and internal factors. A simple and affordable approach, proposed by us, allows to carry out the screening of body harmony and to estimate the completion of the growth processes.

ROLE OF VASCULAR FACTOR IN THE PATHOGENESIS OF REMOTE CONSEQUENCES OF DEFORMING ARTHROSIS OF THE ANKLE JOINT

Abstract

A comprehensive assessment of hemodynamics of blood vessels, lower leg in patients at different times, the late period of deformative arthrosis of the ankle joint (DAGS) according to the gravity, which allows to predict its course, outcomes and identify the occurrence of complications were carried out. Dynamic monitoring of patients contributed to the high efficiency of the differentiated approach to the management of each category of patients in the long term DAGS was made. The authors have obtained information that the outcome depends on the violation of vascular autoregulation leg hemodynamics in different periods of deforming arthrosis of the ankle joint of any severity. Identified data provide an opportunity to optimize a differentiated approach in the treatment of patients with distant periods of follow-up monitoring.

INFLUENCE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES ON MORPHOMETRIC PARAMETERS OF THE MESENTERIC AND SUBCUTANEOUS TISSUE OF RATS WITH OBESITY, HIGH-FAT DIET INDUCED

Abstract

White adipose tissue (WAT) distribution (visceral fat predomination) and amount (adipose cell hypertrophy) may be a crucial risk factor of metabolic disorders. Present study shows effects of aerobic and anaerobic exercises on morphometric characteristics of mesenteric and subcutaneous WAT in hi-fat diet induced obese rats. The study found that animals, received hi-fat diet, demonstrate prevalence of small-size adipocytes. Probably it protects ectopic tissues from lipotoxic effects. Anaerobic physical exercises reduce amount of mesenteric WAT in normal rats received standard chow. Applied with hi-fat diet, anaerobic physical exercises reduce amount and size of fat cells in mesenteric WAT, but aerobic physical exercises reduce the same characteristics in subcutaneous WAT.

DISTRIBUTION AND DYNAMICS OF CHEMICAL ELEMENTS IN PINE ECOSYSTEMS MESHCHERSKY WOODLAND

Abstract

Determined the chemical composition of the main tree species, understory and ground cover of pine plant communities Meshchera. These areas belong to the National Park and area natural geochemical sample "background", because quite removed from sources of industrial pollution. However, the pine forest biogeocenoses formed on mineralogiccally a poor substrate, under conditions of pronounced deficit of nutrients. In these conditions, a large role is played by the position of phytocenoses in the microrelief and the groundwater level. The features of the absorption and accumulation by plants of calcium, magnesium, iron, manganese, zinc and copper. Revealed a pronounced deficiency of calcium, magnesium and copper in coniferous species with a relative accumulation of vegetation iron and manganese. It is established that intensive extraction of chemical elements from the soil and rapid treatment in the plant-soil system ensures the stable operation of biogeocenoses pine forests with initially low availability of nutrients.

Abstract

The changes in the parameters of the corpus callosum, depending on the type of flow, duration of disease and degree disability in multiple saclerosis. Most sensitive with respect to the investigated indices proved trunk of the corpus callosum, to a lesser extent the knee. For the same period of the disease atrophy of the corpus callosum in patients with primary progressive course of multiple sclerosis is much more pronounced than in other types of flow. Reducing the size of the corpus callosum in progressive types of flow suggests ongoing secondary degeneration of fibers.

COMPREHENSIVE ULTRASOUND ASSESSMENT OF THE FETAL CEREBELLUM IN THE SECOND TRIMESTER OF PREGNANCY

Abstract

Fetal brain was retrospectively evaluated in normal fetuses at 16-27 weeks of gestation, obtained by multiplanar echography. In axial cerebral plane was measured transverse cerebellar diameter. All measurements were done from as the widest diameter across both hemispheres in an outer-to outer fashion. In mid-sagittal plane was measured craniocaudal diameter and anteroposterior diameter of the cerebellar vermis. Craniocaudal diameter was defined as maximum distance between cranial and caudal surfaces of the vermis, anteroposterior diameter was defined as the maximum distance between anterior and posterior surfaces of the vermis. Normal range plotted on the reference range of the transverse cerebellar diameter, craniocaudal diameter and anteroposterior diameter of the cerebellar vermis. Measuring of its size may be useful for comprehensive ultrasound assessment of the fetal cerebellum in the second trimester of pregnancy.

PROBLEMS OF HYGIENE AND ECOLOGY IN RELATION TO A PROBLEM OF ECOLOGICALLY CAUSED INCIDENCE

Abstract

In article from hygienic and ecological positions the review of material on a problem of ecologically caused incidence in interrelation with processes of change of environment is stated. Modern approach to a problem environment - health of the person which main shortcoming is absence of the accounting of prevalence of the prepathological states having the criteria and predictive importance is sounded. It is emphasized that today there are no bases to denial of ecological incidence, and it should be revealed in the general stream of diseases. Allocation of "ecological medicine" as the independent scientific and practical direction is necessary and to realize official statistics with registration of ecologically reasonable incidence in relation to the international classification of diseases.
