The identification of socio-economic risk factors in the preschool period of the child’s development was carried out with the questionnaire “Social passport of the family”. The total sample size is two hundred fifty three 7–8 year children from two comprehensive schools of Arkhangelsk city, Russia (117 girls and 136 boys). Statistical analysis is carried out using descriptive statistics and stepwise discriminant analysis.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Results. </bold>The students of the control group stand out for favourable psychological and socio-psychological health can successfully adapt and study at school. Children from the group of moderate risk differ in minor deviations of psychophysiological, psychological, and socio-psychological levels of psychological health. First-graders from the high-risk group are characterized by deteriorations at all levels of psychological health.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Limitations. </bold>While studying socioeconomic risk factors of psychological heath among first-grade students from general schools of Arkhangelsk city, we examined children and questioned their parents in accordance with the bioethical principles and their voluntary consent that represents a fairly reference sample. However, the results obtained require verification on similar data from other regions of the Russian Federation.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Conclusion. </bold>Unfavourable socio-economic conditions in children’s lives before entering school can be the basis for emotional distress during the period of school adaptation. The failures in school life and the difficulties in relationships can later provoke the development of risky and sometimes illegal behaviour. The socio-economic risk factors are a predictor of problems in different levels of the child’s psychological health, which requires timely prevention and correction.</italic></p><p><bold>Contribution: </bold></p><p><italic>Kazakova E.V. </italic>— the concept and design of the study, collection of the literature data, collection and processing of material, primary presentation of results description, editing;</p><p><italic>Sokolova L.V. </italic>— the concept and design of the study, writing the text, editing.</p><p><italic>All authors </italic>are responsible for the integrity of all parts of the manuscript and approval of the manuscript final version.</p><p><bold>Conflict of interest. </bold>The authors declare no conflict of interest.</p><p><bold>Acknowledgement. </bold>The work was supported by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, project grant No. 19-013-00348 A.</p><p>Received: December 7, 2021 / Accepted: April 12, 2022 / Published: April 30, 2022</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><italic><bold>Введение. </bold>В работе анализируется проблема повреждающего воздействия социально-экономических факторов риска на раннее развитие и психологическое здоровье детей.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Цель исследования </bold>— количественная оценка влияния социально-экономических факторов риска на раннее развитие и отдельные параметры психологического здоровья младших школьников.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Материалы и методы. </bold>Использовались 16 стандартизированных исследовательских методик, комплексно раскрывающих характеристики психологического здоровья ребёнка (физиологический, психофизиологический, психологический и социально-психологический уровни). Выявление социально-экономических факторов риска в дошкольном периоде развития ребёнка осуществлялось по данным анкеты «Социальный паспорт семьи». Общий объём выборки составил 253 ребёнка (117 девочек и 136 мальчиков, возраст 7–8 лет) — ученики общеобразовательных школ г. Архангельска. Были применены методы описательной статистики и пошаговый дискриминантный анализ.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Результаты. </bold>Результаты исследования показали, что дети, входящие в контрольную группу, имеют хорошие показатели психологического и социально-психологического здоровья, благодаря чему благополучно приспосабливаются к школьной жизни и успешно обучаются. Дети из группы умеренного риска отличаются незначительными отклонениями психологического здоровья на психофизиологическом, психологическом и социально-психологическом уровнях. Первоклассники из группы повышенного риска имели нарушения на всех уровнях психологического здоровья.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Ограничения исследования. </bold>При изучении социально-экономических факторов риска для психологического здоровья первоклассников общеобразовательных школ г. Архангельска проведено анкетирование родителей и обследование детей с соблюдением всех биоэтических принципов и при наличии добровольного согласия участников достаточной референтной выборки. Тем не менее полученные результаты требуют верификации на аналогичных данных по другим регионам Российской Федерации.</italic></p><p><italic><bold>Заключение. </bold>Неблагоприятные социально-экономические условия жизни детей до поступления в школу могут быть причиной их эмоционального неблагополучия в период школьной адаптации. Неудачи школьной жизни, трудности формирования взаимоотношений в социуме могут провоцировать в дальнейшем развитие рискованного, а порой и противоправного поведения.
