It is shown that C. guttulata is a widespread, but rare polypore in the Holarctic, confined to the first stages of drying of coniferous stands, primarily spruce forests, and manifests itself as a poorly studied core pathogen as well as a saprotroph colonizing coniferous deadwood, less often fallen trees. The morphological diagnosis of C. guttulata has been clarified, the substrate spectrum of the species, its distribution, and important from a forest pathology point of view relationships with insects have been identified most fully to date. The conservation status of the species and the prospects for its use in biotechnology are discussed.</p>
Обсуждаются охранный статус вида и перспективы использования в биотехнологии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>brown rot</kwd><kwd>Ips typographus</kwd><kwd>mycetophagous insects</kwd><kwd>Postiaceae</kwd><kwd>substrate ecology</kwd><kwd>tinder fungi</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>бурая гниль</kwd><kwd>мицетофаги</kwd><kwd>субстратная экология</kwd><kwd>трутовики</kwd><kwd>Ips typographus</kwd><kwd>Postiaceae</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский научный фонд</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Science Foundation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>24-16-00092</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Azbukina Z.M., Parmasto E.Kh., Bulakh E.M. et al.
