The tail vertebra, probably IV–X, with a preserved length of 3.8 cm belonged to a turtle comparable in size with the type specimen of the protostegid <italic>Archelon ischyros</italic> from the Campanian of USA. The proportions of the vertebral centrum suggest that it belonged to a female.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Описан хвостовой позвонок гигантской морской черепахи Chelonioidea indet. из верхнемелового местонахождения Малый Пролом (Рязанская обл., Россия; средний сеноман – средний сантон). Хвостовой позвонок, скорее всего, IV–X, с сохранившейся длиной 3.8 см, принадлежал черепахе, сопоставимой по размеру с типовым экземпляром протостегида Archelon ischyros из кампана США.
