The prevalence and clinical aspects of Barrett's esophagus in the population of Eastern Siberia

Распространенность и клинические аспекты пищевода Барретта у населения Восточной Сибири. - Резюме. Цель исследования. Изучить распространенность и клинические аспекты пищевода Барретта (ПБ) у коренных и пришлых жителей в Восточной Сибири. Материалы и методы. Клиническое обследование и эзофагофиброгастродуоденоскопию выполнили 12 975 представителям европеоидной расы и 1489 хакасам в Хакасии (г. Абакан), 1861 представителям европеоидной расы и 5829 тувинцам в республике Тыва (г. Кызыл) и 1177 представителям европеоидной расы в Дудинке (Таймыр). Верификацию диагноза ПБ осуществляли с помощью морфологического исследования. Результаты. Общая распространенность ПБ среди представителей европеоидной расы равна 1,6% (2,4% у мужчин и 0,8% у женщин; ОШ 3,21 при 95% ДИ 2,40-4,29; р<0,001), среди монголоидов - 3,1% (4,5% у мужчин и 2% у женщин; ОШ 2,3 при 95% ДИ 1,75-3,04; р<0,001). Частота появления изжоги и других типичных симптомов отчетливо превалировала у больных с ПБ. Факторами риска развития ПБ во всех обследованных популяциях были мужской пол, возраст старше 40 лет, выкуривание более 20 в день в течение 10 лет и более у мужчин и ожирение. Заключение. Получены этнические различия по распространенности ПБ, которые превалировали в Восточной Сибири у представителей монголоидной расы по сравнению с представителями европеоидной расы.About the authors
