Аннотация

Обсуждается проблема выбора рациональной фармакотерапии при артериальной гипертензии. Рассматриваются возможности блокаторов рецепторов ангиотензина II в снижении сердечно-сосудистого риска и органопротекции. Приводится обзор публикаций, посвященных олмесартану, доказавшему свою эффективность и безопасность в клинических исследованиях по сравнению как с плацебо, так и с препаратами других классов. Антигипертензивная эффективность олмесартана сочетается с дополнительными органопротективными свойствами, в частности, нефропротективными, что расширяет возможности его клинического применения.
