详细

Venous trophic ulcers are considered to occur in 2% of the adult population in developed countries. These are responsible for 70-75% of all lesions of skin trophism [2,4]. The quality of life in patients with trophic venous ulcers is negatively influenced by pain syndrome (80%) due to insomnia (74%), significant inconveniences associated with hygienic procedures (90%) and selected comfortable footwear (78%) [3, 6]. The closure of one trophic ulcer costs about 800-1500 Euro in an outpatient setting in the countries of the European Union; in Russia, the direct cost of treating one case of venous trophic ulcer is as many as 10,000-15,000 rubles in the polyclinic, and more than 20,000 rubles in a hospital [5, 6, 9, 11].
