Retrospective and observational studies have reported an increased risk for benign uterine lesions in tamoxifen-treated postmenopausal women. Tamoxifen may cause endocervical and endometrial polyps, proliferative endometrial changes, endometrial hyperplasia and cancer, and others. All the above necessitates a search for possible ways of preventing and treat-ing this pathology.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Тамоксифен является наиболее часто используемым препаратом для лечения рака молочной железы. Известно также влияние данного препарата на гормон-чувствительные ткани. Ретроспективные и наблюдательные исследования показали, что у женщин в постменопаузе с раком молочной железы, принимающих тамоксифен, риск развития доброкачественной патологии матки возрастает. Тамоксифен может быть причиной развития полипов цервикального канала и эндометрия, пролиферативных изменения эндометрия, гиперплазии и рака эндометрия и др.
