Objective. To analyze the data available in the modern literature in order to identify sociomedical determinants of the behavior of a mother in promoting and recovering the health of her newborn infant. Material and methods. The review included the data of foreign and Russian articles found in Pubmed and eLibrary on this topic. Results. The paper presents a diversity of sociomedical factors that can potentially affect the molding of the value system in mothers of our society, their awareness of their babies’ care, and prejudices and misconceptions. Conclusion. The behavior of parents, mothers in particular (their self-interest, activity, and compliance) is one of the most important factors for health promotion and disease prevention in infants during the first year of life.

Цель исследования. Провести анализ данных, имеющихся в современной литературе, с целью выявить медико-социальные факторы, определяющие поведение матери в отношении укрепления и восстановления здоровья своего новорожденного ребенка. Материал и методы. В обзор включены данные зарубежных и отечественных статей, найденных в Pubmed и еЫЪгагу по данной теме. Результаты. В статье представлен целый ряд медико-социальных факторов, которые потенциально могут оказывать влияние на формирование системы ценностей матерей в нашем обществе, на их информированность в вопросах ухода за своим ребенком, предубеждения и ложные представления. Заключение. Одним из важнейших факторов укрепления здоровья и профилактики заболеваний детей первого года жизни является поведение родителей, в частности матерей - их заинтересованность, активность и комплаентностъ.
