The review includes the data from foreign and Russian publications in PubMed on this issue over the past ten years. This was an analysis of the possibilities and contraindications to the use of hormone therapy, as well as menopausal hormone therapy in women with different morphological variants of ovarian malignancies. It was concluded that hormone therapy can be used in patients with a history of ovarian cancer, non-epithelial malignant tumors and borderline ovarian tumors.</p> <p>Conclusion: The correlation between the use of hormone therapy and the risk of recurrence of neoplasms in women treated for ovarian cancer has been clearly established only for granulocellular ovarian tumors and serous tumors of low malignant potential. In case of other morphological variants of ovarian malignancies, menopausal hormone therapy should be prescribed very carefully. Before making a decision on the use of hormone therapy for each patient, it is necessary to conduct a thorough examination and consult an interdisciplinary group of specialists in order to individualize the hormone therapy plan based on the assessment of the potential risks and benefits of the treatment.</p>
Перед принятием решения об использовании гормонотерапии в обязательном порядке должно быть проведено тщательное обследование и консультирование каждой пациентки на междисциплинарном консилиуме с целью индивидуализации плана проведения гормональной терапии на основе оценки потенциальных рисков и преимуществ предполагаемой терапии.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>ovarian cancer</kwd><kwd>borderline ovarian tumors</kwd><kwd>germinal ovarian tumors</kwd><kwd>sex cord-stromal tumors</kwd><kwd>menopausal hormone therapy</kwd><kwd>oncological risks</kwd><kwd>overall and relapse-free survival</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак яичников</kwd><kwd>пограничные опухоли яичников</kwd><kwd>герминогенные опухоли яичников</kwd><kwd>опухоли стромы полового тяжа</kwd><kwd>менопаузальная гормональная терапия</kwd><kwd>онкологические риски</kwd><kwd>общая и безрецидивная выживаемость</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Minami C.A., Freedman R.A.
