The domains of its expression include a wide range of parts of speech, such as adverbs, adjectives, postpositions, and verbs. Provided with a broad synchronic illustrative base, as well as with respective diachronic commentaries, the material under discussion is meant to lay the groundwork for the establishment of a diachronic grammar of elevation in Kartvelian.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье подробно рассматриваются и впервые вводятся в научный обиход сведения, касающиеся выражения семантики элевации в картвельских языках. Сферы ее выражения включают в себя широкий частеречный спектр: наречия, прилагательные, послелоги, глаголы. Материал, обеспеченный и снабженный как широким синхронным контекстом, так и диахроническим комментарием, призван лечь в основу исторической грамматики элевации в картвельских языках.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>diachrony</kwd><kwd>elevation</kwd><kwd>Kartvelian</kwd><kwd>spatial semantics</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>вертикальный дейксис</kwd><kwd>диахрония</kwd><kwd>картвельские языки</kwd><kwd>пространственная семантика</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Asatiani 1952/2015 — Asatiani I.
