The paper demonstrates that dialectal data provides intriguing evidence for understanding the second position constraint. Namely, it features cross-linguistically rare variation of reduplication and metathesis as two realizations of the same post-syntactic process.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье рассматривается синтаксис сочинительного союза да в северных русских говорах на типологическом фоне и предлагается единое объяснение его разнообразным моделям употребления (проклитическое при втором конъюнкте, энклитическое при первом или втором конъюнкте, удвоенное употребление при втором конъюнкте) в формальных моделях языка. Мы показываем, что данные северных русских говоров представляют собой важный материал для понимания ограничения второй позиции в языках мира. В частности, они демонстрируют типологически крайне редкий случай варьирования двух реализаций одного постсинтаксического механизма — редупликации и метатезы.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>clitics</kwd><kwd>conjunctions</kwd><kwd>coordination</kwd><kwd>dialectology</kwd><kwd>formal syntax</kwd><kwd>North Russian</kwd><kwd>Russian</kwd><kwd>syntax</kwd><kwd>word order</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>диалектология</kwd><kwd>клитики</kwd><kwd>порядок слов</kwd><kwd>русский язык</kwd><kwd>севернорусские диалекты</kwd><kwd>синтаксис</kwd><kwd>сочинение</kwd><kwd>союзы</kwd><kwd>формальный синтаксис</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский научный фонд</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Science Foundation</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id>24-18-00199</award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Беляев 2022 — Беляев О.
