Solutions are sought in an implicit form that involves several free functions; the specific expressions of these functions are determined in the subsequent analysis of the arising functional differential equations. The effectiveness of the method is illustrated by examples of nonlinear reaction-diffusion equations and Klein-Gordon type equations with variable coefficients that depend on one or more arbitrary functions. A number of new exact functional separable solutions and generalized traveling-wave solutions are obtained.</p>
Получен ряд новых точных решений с функциональным разделением переменных и решений типа обобщённой бегущей волны.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>functional separable solutions</kwd><kwd>reaction-diffusion equations</kwd><kwd>Klein-Gordon type equations</kwd><kwd>functional differential equations</kwd><kwd>exact solutions in implicit form</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>решения с функциональным разделением переменных</kwd><kwd>реакционно-диффузионные уравнения</kwd><kwd>уравнения типа Клейна-Гордона</kwd><kwd>функционально-дифференциальные уравнения</kwd><kwd>точные решения в неявном виде</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">State task</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Государственное задание</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id></award-id></award-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Foundation for Basic Research</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский фонд фундаментальных исследований</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id></award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Grundland A.M., Infeld E. // J.
