Extremely high and extremely low velocities and transports of Atlantic Bottom Water (AABW) in the entire history of our observations over this section were found. In 2017, the maximum speed over the section reached 55 cm/s, and in 2018, it did not exceed 30 cm/s. In 2018, a core of high velocities in the bottom layers of the channel characteristic of the AABW flow was not found.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В апреле 2017 г. и в октябре 2018 г. в российской экспедиции на научно-исследовательском судне “Академик Сергей Вавилов” в юго-западной Атлантике были выполнены измерения температуры, солёности и скорости течения на стандартном разрезе через глубоководный канал Вима по 31°12¢ ю.ш. При этом обнаружены предельно высокие и предельно низкие скорости потока и расхода Антарктической донной воды за всю историю наших наблюдений на этом разрезе. В 2017 г. максимальная скорость на разрезе достигала 55 см/с, а в 2018 г. она не превышала 30 см/с.
