Assuming that the increased discharge may be due to permafrost degradation in river basins, the thaw rate was estimated by modeling. A mathematical model that takes into account the typification of the four permafrost categories, reflecting the dependence of the runoff on the cryological conditions of the watershed areas, showed a rapid degradation of sporadic permafrost and expansion of discontinuous permafrost at the account of continuous one.</p>
Математическая модель, учитывающая типизацию зон ММП, отражающая зависимость стока от криологических условий водосбора, показала ускоренную деградацию островной мерзлоты и рост доли прерывистой мерзлоты за счёт интенсивного перехода в это состояние участков сплошной мерзлоты.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>hydrological river regime</kwd><kwd>streamflow</kwd><kwd>permafrost degradation</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>гидрологический режим рек</kwd><kwd>сток</kwd><kwd>деградация вечной мерзлоты</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Russian Foundation for Basic Research</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Российский фонд фундаментальных исследований</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source><award-id></award-id></award-group></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Атлас снежно-ледовых ресурсов мира / Под ред.
