It was found for the first time that TNIC is an effective antioxidant. The effect of TNIC on the catalytic activity of mitochondrial enzymes: cytochrome <italic>c </italic>oxidase and monoamine oxidase A has been studied. It was shown for the first time that TNIC is an inhibitor of the catalytic activity of cytochrome <italic>c</italic> oxidase and monoamine oxidase A in the brain mitochondria isolated from animals in vitro.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Исследованы антиоксидантные и антирадикальные свойства тетранитрозильного комплекса железа с тиосульфатными лигандами (ТНКЖ) в гомогенатах головного мозга мышей in vitro. Впервые установлено, что ТНКЖ является эффективным антиоксидантом. Изучено влияние ТНКЖ на каталитическую активность митохондриальных ферментов: цитохром <italic>с</italic>-оксидазу и моноаминооксидазу А.
