The development of alternative energy sources, among which solar energy is the most accessible, is considered as a possible solution. Acquisition of skills of its effective and environmentally friendly use by creating artificial photosynthetic systems imitating the processes of natural photosynthesis, as well as the use of artificial photosynthesis for the production of biofuels can contribute to a way out of the current situation.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p id="idm45257551251856">Ограниченность запасов ископаемого топлива и отрицательное влияние продуктов его сгорания на экологию – две актуальные проблемы современности. В качестве возможного их решения рассматривается освоение альтернативных источников энергии, среди которых наиболее доступна энергия Солнца. Приобретение навыков эффективного и экологичного её использования путём создания искусственных фотосинтезирующих систем, имитирующих процессы природного фотосинтеза, а также применение искусственного фотосинтеза для производства биотоплива могут способствовать выходу из сложившейся ситуации.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>alternative forms of energy</kwd><kwd>biohydrogen</kwd><kwd>biophotolysis</kwd><kwd>artificial photosynthesis</kwd><kwd>solar cells.</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>альтернативные виды энергии</kwd><kwd>биоводород</kwd><kwd>биофотолиз</kwd><kwd>искусственный фотосинтез</kwd><kwd>солнечные ячейки.</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Выражаю благодарность моим коллегам и сотрудникам: доктору биологических наук В.Д.
