occurrence forms of rare-earth elements (REE) in tuff samples from three areas of active geophagy at three sites within Sikhote-Alin were analyzed using scanning electron microscope with analytical attachment. It was established that the concentration of REE phases ranging in size from units to hundreds of microns in the host, mainly, aluminosilicate matrix is scattered and disseminated. The revealed REE phases are represented by phosphates, silicates and carbonates with clear predominance of cerium subgroup elements. Two generations of REE minerals are distinguished: endogenous (monazite, xenotime, and allanite) and hypergenic (rhabdophane, bastnaesite and calkinsite).</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>На сканирующем электронном микроскопе с аналитической приставкой проведен анализ основных минеральных форм нахождения редкоземельных элементов (РЗЭ) в образцах туфов из трех районов активной геофагии в пределах Сихотэ-Алиня. Установлен рассеянно-вкрапленный характер концентрации фаз РЗЭ размером от единиц до сотен микрометров во вмещающей, преимущественно алюмосиликатной, матрице. Выявленные РЗЭ-фазы представлены фосфатами, силикатами и карбонатами с явным преобладанием в них элементов цериевой подгруппы.
