Their chemical structures, biological activity, and hypothetical pathways of biosynthesis have been established. Many of the isolated compounds have a unique chemical structure and contain unusual structural fragments.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Исследованы полярные стероидные соединения, сфинголипиды и тритерпеновые гликозиды некоторых видов тропических и дальневосточных морских звезд. Установлены их химические структуры, изучена биологическая активность, а также предположены пути биосинтеза.
