The modern breed group combines four related populations – American, Canadian, Japanese and Sakhalin. Studies have shown that a limited population limits fertility, does not show heterosis, and reduces adaptability in subsequent generations. The main breeding and genetic parameters of breeding herds have been determined. The correlation coefficient between the milk yield of cows for 305 days of the first lactation and the service period was –0,227±0,013, the coefficient of linear regression, respectively (byx = 0,45±0,033, F test 5.2). A positive correlation was found between the milk yield of full-aged cows over 305 days of lactation and the number of retired cows in fertility (r = +0,52±0,012).</p>
Между удоем полновозрастных коров за 305 дней лактации и количеством выбывших коров по плодовитости выявлена положительная коррелятивная связь (r = +0,52±0,012).</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>breeding and genetic parameters of herds</kwd><kwd>sakhalin population of Holstein breed</kwd><kwd>milk productivity</kwd><kwd>reproducibility</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>селекционно-генетические параметры стад</kwd><kwd>сахалинская популяция голштинской породы</kwd><kwd>молочная продуктивность</kwd><kwd>воспроизводительная способность</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group><award-group><funding-source><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="ru">Министерство науки и высшего образования РФ по проекту FGEM-2025-0003.</institution></institution-wrap><institution-wrap><institution xml:lang="en">Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation under the project FGEM-2025-0003.</institution></institution-wrap></funding-source></award-group><funding-statement xml:lang="en">The work was carried out in accordance with the State Assignment of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation under the project FGEM-2025-0003.</funding-statement><funding-statement xml:lang="ru">Работа выполнена в соответствии с государственным заданием Министерства науки и высшего образования Российской Федерации по проекту FGEM-2025-0003.</funding-statement></funding-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><citation-alternatives><mixed-citation xml:lang="en">Kuznetsov V.M.
