It is shown that when depleted uranium enters the body, rodent eating behavior increases possibly due to direct neurotoxicity of uranium compounds, as well as impaired metabolism of neurotransmitters in a brain. At the same time, the toxic effect of uranium compounds on the organs of the gastrointestinal tract is probably the cause of malabsorption syndrome, which causes a decrease in weight gain in animals.</p>
В то же время токсическое действие соединений урана на органы желудочно-кишечного тракта возможно является причиной возникновения синдрома мальабсорбциии, который обуславливает снижение прибавки веса у животных.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>depleted uranium</kwd><kwd>food behavior</kwd><kwd>brain</kwd><kwd>incorporation</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>обеднённый уран</kwd><kwd>пищевое поведение</kwd><kwd>головной мозг</kwd><kwd>инкорпорация</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Eldaghmah M.
