At the same time, many studies have found an association of pathologies with both single GST gene polymorphisms and combined polymorphic variants, which indicates a complex effect of antioxidant system genes.</p><p>Limitation of the study. The limitation of this review is the lack of domestic literary sources.</p><p>Conclusion. Further research of functional polymorphisms of the GST family genes are needed to develop effective systems for the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of diseases.</p><p>Compliance with ethical standards. This study does not require the conclusion of a biomedical ethics committee or other documents.</p><p>Contribution. All co-authors made an equal contribution to the research and preparation of the article for publication.</p><p>Conflict of interests. The authors declare no conflict of interest.</p><p>Funding. The study had no sponsorship.</p><p>Received: January 1, 2023 / Accepted: February 2, 2023 / Published: April 30, 2023</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Введение. Исследование не имело спонсорской поддержки.</p><p>Поступила в редакцию: 20 января 2023 / Принята в печать: 02 февраля 2023 / Опубликована: 30 апреля 2023 </p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Glutathione-s-transferases</kwd><kwd>GSTM1</kwd><kwd>GSTT1</kwd><kwd>GSTP1</kwd><kwd>polymorphisms</kwd><kwd>review</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>глутатион-S-трансферазы</kwd><kwd>GSTM1</kwd><kwd>GSTT1</kwd><kwd>GSTP1</kwd><kwd>полиморфизмы</kwd><kwd>обзор</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Glazier A.M., Nadeau J.H., Aitman T.J.
