The stages for the application of navigation technologies for the planning and performance complex surgical interventions which have traditionally rather high rate complications are described in details. Application of navigation program methods allows to achieve the main aim of modern surgery, i.e. treatment quality and provision of patient’s safety. The organization of region surgical centers for navigation planning is substantiated.</italic></p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><italic>Изложены основы проектирования навигационных технологий в травматологии и ортопедии. На примере применения навигации при фиксации позвоночника транспедикулярными конструкциями показаны преимущества современных технологий перед классическими технологиями оперативного лечения патологии позвоночника. Предложены критерии для сравнительной характеристики навигационных систем. Проведен анализ конкретных навигационных систем. Обоснована целесообразность создания региональных хирургических центров навигационного планирования, которые могут сотрудничать с клиниками, где проводится оперативное лечение с использованием навигационных программных комплексов.
