This article presents the results of a thermographic examination that can be used in the diagnosis of temporomandibular joint dysfunction and biomechanical disorders of the cervical spine.</p> <p><bold>AIM:</bold><italic> </italic>To evaluate the data of medical infrared thermography in temporomandibular joint dysfunction associated with biomechanical disorders of the cervical spine.</p> <p><bold>MATERIALS AND METHODS:</bold> The cross-sectional study included 60 patients who were divided into two groups — the main group (30 people) with the presence of temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome and the control group (30 people) without temporomandibular joint dysfunction. The groups underwent a detailed clinical and instrumental examination: clinical manifestations of temporomandibular joint dysfunction were evaluated, as well as imaging, thermal imaging, and electromyographic examination.</p> <p><bold>RESULTS:</bold><bold> </bold>On IMT examination, diagnostically significant facial thermoasymmetry was found in 70% of patients in the main group and in 6.67% of patients in the control group. Posterior neck thermoasymmetry was detected in 80 and 26.7% of patients, respectively. According to MRI data, static and dystrophic changes of the cervical spine were detected in 73.3% of patients in the main group and 23.3% in the control group.</p> <p><bold>CONCLUSION:</bold><italic> </italic>The study showed that IMT is highly informative in temporomandibular joint dysfunction syndrome, allowing early diagnosis and differential diagnosis of the disease.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование.</bold><bold> </bold>Метод инфракрасной медицинской термографии (ИМТ), несмотря на свои преимущества, на сегодняшний день не нашёл активного применения в диагностике синдрома дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава и биомеханических нарушений в шейном отделе позвоночника. В статье представлены результаты термографического обследования, которые могут использоваться при диагностике дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава и биомеханических нарушений шейного отдела позвоночника.</p> <p><bold>Цель.</bold><bold> </bold>Оценить данные медицинской инфракрасной термографии при дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава на фоне биомеханических нарушений шейного отдела позвоночника.</p> <p><bold>Материалы</bold><bold> </bold><bold>и</bold><bold> </bold><bold>методы.</bold><bold> </bold>В поперечном исследовании приняли участие 60 пациентов, которые были разделены на две группы — основную (30 человек), с наличием синдрома дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава, и контрольную (30 человек), в которой дисфункция височно-нижнечелюстного сустава отсутствовала. В группах проводили углублённое клинико-инструментальное исследование: оценивали клинические проявления дисфункции височно-нижнечелюстного сустава, проводили визуализационное, тепловизионное и электромиографическое обследование.</p> <p><bold>Результаты.</bold><bold> </bold>При ИМТ-обследовании у 70% пациентов основной группы выявили диагностически значимую термоасимметрию лица, тогда как в контрольной группе — у 6,67%. Термоасимметрия задней поверхности шеи выявлялась у 80 и 26,7% соответственно.
