This situation necessitates research into injury patterns to enable the implementation of preventive measures and the development of unified treatment algorithms. Russian scientific sources mainly present isolated data based on small samples, which complicates analysis and systematization.</p> <p><bold>AIM: </bold>This study aimed to assess the level, distribution, and temporal changes of injuries associated with personal mobility devices in the largest Russian metropolis (Moscow); to identify trends and risk factors affecting the safety of personal mobility devices operation; and to initiate the systematization of clinical data on personal mobility device-related injuries across the Russian Federation.</p> <p><bold>METHODS:</bold> It was a multicenter, non-randomized, retrospective, anonymized study of personal mobility device-related injuries. The analysis was based on reports and medical records from patients treated in 5 outpatient and 7 inpatient facilities of the Moscow City Health Department. The study sample comprised 4678 patients aged 18–89 years, divided into two groups: the first included 3302 patients (70%) who received outpatient medical care or refused hospitalization, and the second included 1376 patients (30%) who were admitted for inpatient treatment. Methods of retrospective analysis, stratification, and statistical data processing were applied.</p> <p><bold>RESULTS: </bold>Hospitalized patients accounted for 1376 cases (30%), with a mean age of 35 years (range: 18–86). Most participants were of working age, of both sexes, with no marked gender predominance. However, hospitalized patients were significantly older than outpatients (<italic>p</italic> &lt; 0.05). The gender distribution did not differ between groups (<italic>p</italic> &gt; 0.05). In the group hospitalized for inpatient treatment, injuries resulting from bicycles, e-bikes, scooters, e-scooters and other personal mobility devices (rollerblades, unicycles, Segways, hoverboards), which constituted less than 1% of the overall distribution, accounted for 330 (24%), 69 (5%), 234 (17%), 660 (48%), and 83 cases, respectively. The mean length of hospital stay was 4.76 days. Among outpatients, injuries resulting from bicycles, scooters, e-scooters and other personal mobility devices (rollerblades, unicycles, Segways, hoverboards), which constituted less than 1% of the overall distribution, accounted for 765 (23%), 667 (20%), 1583 (48%), and 287 (9%) cases. Across all personal mobility devices, e-scooters ranked first in injury incidence, dominating the shared mobility market over the past five years. Falls accounted for 79% of all injuries. By the nature of the injuries, in the outpatient group, isolated injuries accounted for 2628 cases (79%), whereas multiple, combined, or associated injuries accounted for 674 (21%) cases. In inpatients, isolated injuries occurred in 1045 (76%) cases, and multiple, combined, or polytrauma injuries occurred in 331 (24%) cases.</p> <p><bold>CONCLUSION:</bold><bold> </bold>This study analyzed personal mobility device-related injuries treated in Moscow healthcare facilities and determined the distribution of injuries by etiology, nature, and type of medical care provided. The study represents the first step toward systematizing clinical data on personal mobility device-related injuries in Russia for the subsequent development of optimal solutions for prevention and treatment.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Обоснование. </bold>Использование для передвижения средств индивидуальной мобильности (СИМ) связано с высокой травмоопасностью, а рост количества травм прямо пропорционален увеличению популярности СИМ и количества поездок. Сложившаяся ситуация требует изучения данного направления травматизма для принятия мер профилактики и разработки единых алгоритмов лечения. В отечественной литературе представлены преимущественно частные данные с малым объёмом выборки, что затрудняет анализ и систематизацию данных.</p> <p><bold>Цель. </bold>Оценка уровня, структуры и динамики травматизма, связанного с использованием СИМ, на территории крупнейшего российского мегаполиса (г. Москвы); выявление тенденций и факторов риска, влияющих на безопасность эксплуатации СИМ; начало систематизации полученных клинических данных по травматизму, связанному с использованием СИМ, на территории РФ.</p> <p><bold>Материалы и методы. </bold>Проведено многоцентровое нерандомизированное ретроспективное обезличенное исследование травматизма, связанного с использованием СИМ. Работа основана на анализе отчётов и медицинских карт пациентов 5 амбулаторных и 7 стационарных подразделений Департамента здравоохранения города Москвы. Выборка пациентов составила 4678 человек от 18 до 89 лет, разделённых на две группы, в первую из которых включены 3302 (70%) пациента, получивших медицинскую помощь в амбулаторном порядке либо отказавшихся от госпитализации; во вторую — 1376 (30%) человек, госпитализированных для круглосуточного стационарного лечения. В исследовании использованы методы ретроспективного анализа, стратификации и статистической обработки данных.</p> <p><bold>Результаты.</bold> Госпитализированные по результатам осмотра пациенты составили 1376 человек (30%) со средним возрастом 35 (от 18 до 86) лет. Большинство пользователей являются лицами трудоспособного возраста и обоих полов, без значительного преобладания мужчин или женщин. Вместе с тем госпитализированные пациенты значимо старше амбулаторных (<italic>p</italic> &lt; 0,05). Распределение мужчин и женщин в группах не различается (<italic>p</italic> &gt; 0,05). В структуре группы пациентов, госпитализированных для стационарного лечения, травмы, полученные в результате использования велосипедов, составили 330 (24%), электровелосипедов — 69 (5%), самокатов — 234 (17%), электросамокатов — 660 случаев (48%), других СИМ, составляющих менее 1% в общей структуре (ролики, моноколёса, сигвеи, гироскутеры), — 83 случая. Среднее количество койко-дней стационарного лечения составило 4,76. Среди амбулаторных пациентов травмы, полученные при использовании велосипедов, составляют 765 (23%), самокатов — 667 (20%) и электросамокатов — 1583 случая (48%), других СИМ, составляющих менее 1% в общей структуре (ролики, моноколёса, сигвеи, гироскутеры и др.), — 287 случаев (9%). Среди всех СИМ первые места по травматизму занимают электросамокаты, которые в последние 5 лет лидируют на рынке кикшеринга. В 79% случаев травмы были связаны с падением. По характеру полученных травм в группе амбулаторных пациентов изолированные повреждения составили 2628 случаев (79%), множественные, комбинированные и сочетанные — 674 (21%). В группе пациентов, прошедших стационарное лечение, изолированные повреждения составили 1045 случаев (76%), множественные, комбинированные и политравмы — 331 (24%).</p> <p><bold>Заключение. </bold>Проанализированы данные по травматизму, связанному с использованием СИМ, полученные из медицинских учреждений г. Москвы, а также определена структура травм по этиологии, характеру и формам оказания медицинской помощи.
