There were 25 patients with gonarthrosis lasted 5.6 + years. In development of Baker’s cyst 3 periods were defined. Each period is characterized by structural changes caused by cyst development age and gonarthrosis stage. The period has specific quantitative and qualitative patterns of cyst wall and content. Ultrasound diagnosis of cyst structural development was reliably verified by histologic data. Ultrasound assessment of synovial masses in popliteal area allows to differentiate Baker’s cyst with other pathologic processes in deforming knee arthrosis of different genesis. Accurate definition of structural cyst development periods is useful for the detection of indications for cyst extirpation.</p> <p> </p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Проведен сравнительный анализ сонографической и морфологической оценки процесса формирования кисты Бейкера у 25 больных гонартрозом давностью 5,6±1,26 года. Выделено три периода в организации кисты Бейкера. Каждый период характеризуется структурными изменениями, обусловленными давностью образования кисты и стадией гонартроза. Каждый из периодов имеет определенные количественные и качественные показатели состояния стенки кисты и ее содержимого. Сонографический диагноз периодов структурной организации кисты достоверно верифицируется данными гистологического исследования процесса. Сонографическая оценка синовиальных образований подколенной области позволяет дифференцировать кисту Бейкера с другими патологическими процессами у больных с деформирующим артрозом коленного сустава различного генеза.
