GENE METHYLATION IN CD3+ CELLS IN PSORIASIS

Abstract

Gene methylation level in CD3+ cells of psoriasis patients in comparison with that in normal subjects was analyzed using Illumina microchips. Differentially methylated locuses were detected in CD3+ cells of psoriasis patients and normal subjects. FRK, JAK1, AKAP7, DYRK1A, PRKCA, RPS6KA2 kinase genes were detected in the most methylated locuses in CD3+ cells of psoriasis patients. The clear-cut separation of the samples into two groups suggested that the level of the studied genes methylation in CD3+ cells can serve for predicting liability to psoriasis and presumably for diagnosis of its early stages.
