The problem of infertility does not have regional, national and social manifestations, which creates an urgent need to study its causes and develop safe, effective and affordable treatment methods.</p> <p><bold>The purpose of this work</bold> was to analyze scientific data on the effect of fat-soluble antioxidant vitamins on human reproductive function and to assess the prospects of antioxidant therapy in the treatment of female and male infertility.</p> <p><bold>Material and Methods. </bold>The PRISMA principle was used to search and select articles. The search for publications for review was carried out in the Cochrane databases (Cochrane Group on Gynecology and Infertility Treatment (CGF), MedLine (PubMEd), ScienceDirect (Elsevier), as well as the Russian scientific electronic library eLibrary.Ru, including neurosearch.</p> <p><bold>Results</bold>. Study of the functional state Numerous studies have been devoted to the human reproductive system in conditions of deficiency of fat-soluble vitamins and antioxidants, during which the relationship between the content of carotenoids, retinol, α-tocopherol and other fat-soluble antioxidants in the blood of women and men and reproductive dysfunction has been identified. An analysis and synthesis of published clinical studies has been carried out. on the influence of fat-soluble antioxidant vitamins on the human reproductive system, and it has been established that the prospects for antioxidant therapy in the treatment of infertility are being investigated, while focusing on the deficiency of antioxidants, in particular vitamins A, E, D and carotenoids, as a significant factor causing reproductive dysfunction systems. Their role and potential impact on improving the reproductive health of men and women is discussed.</p> <p><bold>Conclusions. </bold>The lack of representation of antioxidant therapy regimens in standard clinical guidelines for the treatment of female and male infertility is due to the current lack of evidence of adequate quality confirming its effectiveness and safety. In this regard, the need to design and conduct high-quality randomized placebo-controlled clinical trials to determine the effectiveness and safety of antioxidant therapy in the treatment of infertility is emphasized.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Введение.</bold> Согласно данным, приведенным в опубликованном 4 апреля 2023 года докладе ВОЗ, бесплодием страдает около 17,5% взрослого населения или каждый шестой человек в мире. Проблема бесплодия не имеет региональной, национальной и социальной выраженности, что обуславливает настоятельную необходимость исследования ее причин и разработки безопасных, эффективных и доступных методов лечения.</p> <p><bold>Цель работы </bold>– анализ научных данных о влиянии жирорастворимых витаминов-антиоксидантов на репродуктивную функцию человека и оценка перспективы антиоксидантной терапии в лечении женского и мужского бесплодия.</p> <p><bold>Материал и</bold> <bold>методы.<italic> </italic></bold>Для поиска и отбора статей использовали принцип PRISMA. Поиск публикаций для обзора осуществляли по базам данных Cochrane (Кокрановской группы по вопросам гинекологии и лечения бесплодия (CGF)), MedLine (PubMEd), ScienceDirect (Elsevier), а также российской научной электронной библиотеки eLibrary.Ru, включая нейропоиск.</p> <p><bold>Результаты.</bold><italic> </italic>Изучению функционального состояния репродуктивной системы человека в условиях дефицита жирорастворимых витаминов и антиоксидантов посвящены многочисленные исследования, в ходе которых выявлена взаимосвязь между содержанием каротиноидов, ретинола, α-токоферола и других жирорастворимых антиоксидантов в крови у женщин и мужчин и нарушением репродуктивной функции. Исследуются перспективы антиоксидантной терапии в лечении бесплодия, при этом акцентируется внимание на дефиците антиоксидантов, в частности витаминов А, Е, Д и каротиноидов, как на значимом факторе, обуславливающим дисфункции репродуктивной системы. Обсуждается их роль и потенциальное влияние на улучшение репродуктивного здоровья мужчин и женщин.</p> <p><bold>Заключение</bold>. Отсутствие схем антиоксидантной терапии в стандартных клинических руководствах по лечению женского и мужского бесплодия обусловлено тем, что на сегодняшний день нет доказательств надлежащего качества, подтверждающих её эффективность и безопасность.
