The study included 200 patients; 9 were excluded. The included patients were distributed as follows: uncomplicated AWS, 98 patients (51.3%); alcohol delirium, 67 patients (35.1%); and alcohol-induced psychotic disorder, 26 patients (13.6%). Potassium, sodium, calcium, and platelet count were compared between the groups, and the relationships between sex, age, and potassium levels in patients with alcohol delirium were studied. <bold>RESULTS:</bold><italic> </italic>Potassium, sodium, and platelet count were significantly different in patients with alcohol delirium and in those with uncomplicated AWS and alcohol-induced psychotic disorder. Blood calcium levels were significantly different between patients with alcohol delirium and uncomplicated AWS. Women were found to be less sensitive to metabolic disorders that developed as a result of alcohol consumption, as evidenced by lower incidence of delirium. The high prevalence of alcohol delirium among older patients is a consequence of decompensation of metabolic regulation mechanisms. <bold>CONCLUSIONS:</bold><italic> </italic>Predictive model of alcohol delirium, based on the results of blood potassium level study, proved effectiveness in clinical application.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p><bold>Актуальность.</bold> Поиск маркеров и предикторов осложненных форм алкоголизма, к которым относится алкогольный делирий и острые психотические реакции с галлюцинаторными и бредовыми явлениями относится к актуальным проблемам современной наркологии. <bold>Цель</bold> — клиническая апробация модели раннего выявления пациентов с высоким риском развития осложненных форм синдрома отмены алкоголя, основанной на методах лабораторной диагностики. <bold>Материалы и методы.</bold> Общее число включенных пациентов — 200, исключено 9 человек, оставшиеся распределились следующим образом: неосложненный синдром отмены алкоголя развился у 98 человек (51,3 %), алкогольный делирий — у 67 (35,1 %) и алкогольное психотическое расстройство — у 26 (13,6 %). Сравнивали уровни калия, натрия, кальция и количество тромбоцитов между группами, исследовали связи между полом, возрастом и уровнем калия у пациентов с алкогольным делирием. <bold>Результаты.</bold> Уровни калия, натрия и количество тромбоцитов у пациентов с алкогольным делирием статистически значимо отличались от аналогичных показателей пациентов с неосложненным синдромом отмены алкоголя и психотическим расстройством вследствие употребления алкоголя. Уровень кальция в крови статистически значимо различался у пациентов с алкогольным делирием и неосложненным синдромом отмены алкоголя. Женщины оказались менее чувствительны к метаболическим расстройствам, развивающимся вследствие употребления алкоголя, что проявлялось в меньшей частоте у них делирия.
