Dubova L.V., Konov V.I., Lebedenko I.J., Baev I.V., Sinjavskij M.N.

Abstract

In recent years there has been a steady trend towards an increase in the use of lasers and development of new laser technologies in all fields of medicine. The introduction of lasers in health care has a significant economic effect. An important task in dentistry is the selective removal of biological-nonbiological; which is combined with delivery of laser radiation to the field of fiber using the near-IR range on the example of microsecond Nd:YAG laser. The aim of our study was to determine the temperature influence of laser radiation inside the pulp chamber at various modes of power. When considering the impacts of a microsecond Nd:YAG laser on the pulp of the tooth with the use of the thermocouple (improved method) clear evidence of lowering the temperature inside the cavity of the tooth in all cases.

Ayupova F.S.

Abstract

To improve the control of lateral permanent teeth dentition and their subsequent maleruption correction the treatment results of 52 children in the age of 7-8 (24 children) and 12-14 (28 children) have been studied. In the majority of cases children of 7-8 years old (66,67%) hadprimary first molars extracted, 25% - canines and first molars, 8, 33% - second molars. The second molars were saved in 10, 71% of twelve-year-old children. The earlier loss of lateral primary teeth and delay of primary teeth in the dental arch led to position anomalies and complicated dentition of permanent teeth, deformations of dental arch on the defective side, occlusion imbalances. The combination of teethmaxillary anomaly, sequence variants of canines and premolars dentition requires individualized complex of medical-diagnosticprocedures with due regard for occlusion forming period. Treatment effectiveness depends on its timeliness beginning, difficulty of anomalies, doctor -patientcollaboration.

Abstract

The effective treatment of periodontal inflammation is usual based on medical impact on bacteria as a main etiological agent of gingivitis and periodontitis by means of local and general usage of antibiotics. In study (3 months of observation) were involved 172 patients from 35 to 50 years old, which had resorted for preventive examination, professional hygiene and periodontal treatment. For studying the antibacterial activeness of gel “Phagodent” simultaneously with clinical observations of inflammation, spot tests of bacteria lawn cultivated from sample from pathological nidus were made. The results revealed that usage of dental medicine based on bacteriophages in complex periodontal treatment can provide essential increasing in quality of treatment, decrease the period of inflammation processes relief, the period of reparation and the probability of aftereffects.

Abstract

As of today, there is no unified opinion between scientists and practical dentists about the role of the premolars in stomatognathic system. In a previous publication we have shown a study that with the help of modern research equipment confirmed feature premolars in the physiology of dentition in patients with intact dental arches. In this article we have tried to reflect changes in the occlusal and neuro-muscular system, occurring with the loss of premolars.
