Oxidative stress is considered as one of the standard mechanisms of cellular damage that is associated with inflammatory diseases such as CP. When choosing the combination therapy for this group of patients, a correction of oxidative stress is pathogenetically justified.</p> <p>Literature data about the pathogenetic feasibility and prospects of using a biologically active complex containing flavonoids and carotenoids quercetin, lycopene and naringin as part of the combination treatment of patients with CP are presented in the article.</p> <p>Considering the various effects of the biologically active complex Querceprost<sup>®</sup>, containing quercetin, lycopene and naringin, among which antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and immunomodulatory are of greatest importance, as well as taking into account the synergistic effect of flavonoids and carotenoids, we suggest that Querceprost<sup>®</sup> is promising component of combination treatment of patients with CP.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Значимость проблемы хронического простатита (ХП) сегодня ни у кого не вызывает сомнений. Окислительный стресс (ОС) в настоящее время рассматривается как один из универсальных механизмов клеточного повреждения, тесно связанный с воспалительными заболеваниями, такими как ХП. При выборе тактики комплексного лечения данной категории больных меры, направленные на коррекцию оксидативного стресса, являются патогенетически обоснованными. В представленной статье приведены данные литературы, в которых обосновываются патогенетическая целесообразность и перспективы применения биологически активного комплекса, содержащего флавоноиды и каротиноиды кверцетин, ликопин и нарингин, в составе комплексного лечения больных ХП.</p> <p>Учитывая биологические эффекты компонентов биологически активного комплекса Кверцепрост<sup>®</sup>, содержащего кверцетин, ликопин и нарингин, среди которых наибольшее значение имеют антиоксидантный, противовоспалительный, противомикробный и иммуномодулирующий, а также учитывая сведения о синергетическом эффекте флавоноидов и каротиноидов, мы считаем перспективным применение Кверцепроста<sup>®</sup> в составе комплексной терапии больных ХП.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>chronic prostatitis</kwd><kwd>flavonoids</kwd><kwd>carotenoids</kwd><kwd>Querceprost®</kwd><kwd>quercetin</kwd><kwd>lycopene</kwd><kwd>naringin</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>хронический простатит</kwd><kwd>флавоноиды</kwd><kwd>каротиноиды</kwd><kwd>Кверцепрост®</kwd><kwd>кверцетин</kwd><kwd>ликопин</kwd><kwd>нарингин</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Urology.
