Introduction. Urinary incontinence is a socially significant disease affecting millions of women around the world. High efficiency of modern treatment methods and short hospital stay contribute to lower psychological discomfort of patients.

Aim. To assess the psychological state of patients suffering from stress urinary incontinence before and after surgical treatment in a day patient department and while staying in the hospital for 3-4 days.

Materials and methods. A total of 133 patients aged from 34 to 69 years were included, who underwent surgical treatment in the City Clinical Hospital named after. S.I. Spasokukotsky from 2021 to 2022 in a day patient department and a standard hospital.

Results. In homogeneous groups, there was a decrease in the level of anxiety and depression, as well as an increase quality of life after surgery, which was more pronounced in those treated in a day patient department.

Недержание мочи является социально значимым заболеванием, затрагивающим миллионы женщин по всему миру. Существующие на сегодняшний день методики для коррекции инконтиненции позволяют достигать высокой эффективности, а укороченные сроки стационарного пребывания снижать и без того выраженный психологический дискомфорт пациенток.

Цель исследования: оценить психологическое состояние пациенток, страдающих стрессовой формой недержания мочи, до хирургического лечения и после в условиях стационара кратковременного пребывания (СКП) и при нахождении в больнице в течение 3–4 сут.

Материалы и методы. В исследование были включены 133 пациентки в возрасте от 34 до 69 лет, которые проходили хирургическое лечение в ГКБ им. С.И. Спасокукоцкого с 2021 по 2022 г. в условиях СКП и стационара длительного пребывания.

Результаты. В однородных группах отмечалось снижение уровня тревоги и депрессии, а также повышение уровня качества жизни после оперативного вмешательства, что было более выражено в группе пациенток, проходивших лечение в СКП.
