High efficiency of modern treatment methods and short hospital stay contribute to lower psychological discomfort of patients.</p> <p><bold>Aim.</bold> To assess the psychological state of patients suffering from stress urinary incontinence before and after surgical treatment in a day patient department and while staying in the hospital for 3-4 days.</p> <p><bold>Materials and methods.</bold> A total of 133 patients aged from 34 to 69 years were included, who underwent surgical treatment in the City Clinical Hospital named after. S.I. Spasokukotsky from 2021 to 2022 in a day patient department and a standard hospital.</p> <p><bold>Results.</bold> In homogeneous groups, there was a decrease in the level of anxiety and depression, as well as an increase quality of life after surgery, which was more pronounced in those treated in a day patient department.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Недержание мочи является социально значимым заболеванием, затрагивающим миллионы женщин по всему миру. Существующие на сегодняшний день методики для коррекции инконтиненции позволяют достигать высокой эффективности, а укороченные сроки стационарного пребывания снижать и без того выраженный психологический дискомфорт пациенток.</p> <p><bold>Цель исследования:</bold> оценить психологическое состояние пациенток, страдающих стрессовой формой недержания мочи, до хирургического лечения и после в условиях стационара кратковременного пребывания (СКП) и при нахождении в больнице в течение 3–4 сут.</p> <p><bold>Материалы и методы.</bold> В исследование были включены 133 пациентки в возрасте от 34 до 69 лет, которые проходили хирургическое лечение в ГКБ им. С.И.
