One of its risk factors is obesity, which is supported by the meta-analyses. The development of screening programs to predict the risk of urinary stone disease or its recurrence in obese patients is a relevant issue. We searched PubMed for literature published between 2014 and 2024 using the search terms “kidney stone,” “recurrence,” “predictors,” and “obesity.” Eight original studies were included in our study. The most significant predictors of urinary stone disease or its recurrence in obese patients were Ae index, VAI, dietary patterns, and chronic urinary tract infection. However, described models do not take into account all the factors, which are involved in pathogenesis of urinary stone disease in obese patients. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out further research, develop a single standardized diagnostic scale taking into account the results of the aforementioned studies and studied parameters, test and validate this tool for further implementation in clinical practice.</p>
Однако описанные на сегодняшний день модели не учитывают все параметры, значимые в патогенезе МКБ у пациентов с ожирением, в связи с чем необходимо проведение дальнейших исследований и разработка единого стандартизированного диагностического спектра с учетом результатов описанных выше исследований и исследуемых в них параметров, апробация и валидация данного спектра для последующего внедрения в клиническую практику.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>urinary stone disease</kwd><kwd>obesity</kwd><kwd>body mass index</kwd><kwd>recurrence predictors</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>мочекаменная болезнь</kwd><kwd>ожирение</kwd><kwd>индекс массы тела</kwd><kwd>предикторы рецидива</kwd></kwd-group><funding-group/></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Kaprin A.D., Apolikhin O.I., Sivkov A.V., Anokhin N.V., Gadzhiev N.K., Malkhasyan V.A., Akopyan G.N., Prosyannikov M.Yu.
