The requirements for the technological mode setting individual heating zones of the working cylinder are defined. It is shown that in the first zone, its temperature must not exceed the melting temperature of polyethylene, and in the second area temperature is increased to create a heterogeneous polymer melt, and only in the third working area polymer mass is finally formed for subsequent blending it to a conductor. The substantiation requirements directly to the technological mode of the extruder’s head work are given. Polymer pressure in it is taken as the main influence in the management process of isolation in cable products.
