Article deals with some aspects of prevention and management of drug addiction in young people in Germany. In groups young drug addicts are enlightened about the nature of therapy which is a preliminary stage of therapy itself. As a result of group work many members of motivation group decide on therapy; practically all patiets go through with it to the end. Collaboration with outside consultants, social workers, physical education instructors has a beneficial effect as the drug addicts get to know them better. there is no doubt that Germany experience of prevention and management of drug addiction in young can be effectively adjusted and implemented in Russia by specialists working on the problems of drug addiction.
