In the course of the work, information was searched in open sources of scientific literature in order to analyze publications on the impact of emotional intelligence on the quality and timing of patient adaptation to dental intervention. The depth of scientific literature search was 20 years. The list of sources analyzed included books, monographs, articles in journals, articles in collections of scientific conferences, dissertations covering the content of the term "emotional intelligence", as well as the problems of adapting patients to dental intervention, taking into account the role of anxiety, stress, and emotional intelligence in this process. Particular attention was paid to the influence of emotional intelligence on the effectiveness of the work of doctors of various profiles, as well as ways to correct it through non-drug effects.

В ходе работы проводился поиск информации в открытых источниках научной литературы с целью проведения анализа публикаций, посвященных влиянию эмоционального интеллекта на качество и сроки адаптации пациента к стоматологическому вмешательству. Глубина поиска научной литературы составила 20 лет. В список проанализированных источников вошли книги, монографии, статьи в журналах, статьи в сборниках научных конференций, диссертации, освещающие содержание термина «эмоциональный интеллект», а также проблемы адаптации пациентов к стоматологическому вмешательству с учетом роли тревожности, стресса, эмоционального интеллекта в данном процессе. Особое внимание уделялось влиянию эмоционального интеллекта на эффективность работы врачей различного профиля, а также способам ее коррекции путем немедикаментозного воздействия.
