The outcomes of treating three patients with an inferior orbital wall fracture, accompanied by a traumatic myotomy of the inferior rectus muscle, was performed. In all presented cases, it was possible to achieve functional and cosmetic improvement. It is preferable to carry out the operation at an earlier date. In cases where a delayed operation is justified, it is important to find and isolate both fragments of the muscle and compare them. If the muscle is lost, it is advisable to perform a partial transposition of the internal and external rectus muscles to the place of attachment of the lower one.
Представлены результаты лечения трех пациентов с переломом нижней стенки орбиты, сопровождающимся травматической миотомией нижней прямой мышцы. Во всех представленных случаях удалось добиться функционального и косметического улучшения. Предпочтительно проведение операции в более ранние сроки. В случаях, когда обосновано отсроченное проведение операции, важно выделить оба фрагмента мышцы и сопоставить их. Если мышца утрачена, целесообразно проведение частичной транспозиции внутренней и наружной прямых мышц к месту крепления нижней.
