Domestic radio communication system INTRUNK MC. Commercial trials at industrial facilities

Zakharov Y.A.

Abstract

In the journal PERVAYA MILYA in 2025, No. 7, the digital radio communication system INTRUNK MC, developed by the "LEO TELECOM" company and presented at the ProfComm 2025 forum, was introduced for the first time. It is based on its own MCDR protocol, which relies on the algorithm of a self-organizing distributed peer-to-peer network. Information quickly spread in the professional community. The paper presents the first results of industrial testing of the new equipment.

Anniversary Cable Conference in Saransk

Popov S.A.

Abstract

On February 19–20, the jubilee X International Scientific and Technical Conference took place in Saransk, organized by JSC "Saranskkabel-Optikа", part of the " Opticenergo" Group of Companies. This year, the conference was titled "Fair Market Rules – New Opportunities for Growth" and, as usual, with its diverse program, it stood out favorably from a typical partner event of a cable product manufacturer. Among the main topics of discussion was an innovation affecting the entire industry – the labeling of fiber optic products within the Chestnuy Znak system.

Models for calculating optical fiber communication lines in a CAD system and their experimental verification

Yakushin I.K., Samodelkin L.A., Chebykin I.P., Starykh D.D., Igumenov A.Y., Rukhullaev A.S., Nanii O.E., Treshchikov V.N.

Abstract

Well-known sufficiently accurate numerical models of components and fiber optic communication lines (FOCL) as a whole have a significant drawback – high computational complexity, requiring substantial computing resources and hindering the application of these methods in real-time mode. In recent decades, a group of approximate methods for describing the propagation of optical signals in FOCL has been intensively studied. Based on these methods, computationally efficient numerical models providing acceptable calculation accuracy have been developed. The paper proposes and tests a methodology for verifying models used to evaluate the quality of information signals in FOCL.

Evaluation of the impact of doppler frequency shift in NTN 5G networks using L- and S-Bands

Pastukh A.S., Akhmediarov V.A., Tikhvinsky V.O.

Abstract

The results of an evaluation of the impact of Doppler frequency shift on the capabilities of satellite communication links when using standard 5G smartphones as subscriber equipment in an NTN network based on low Earth orbit (LEO) satellites are presented. The assessment considered downlink (DL) and uplink (UL) communication paths of the NTN 5G network to determine the availability of such a communication channel with and without a Doppler shift compensator on the LEO satellite. A simulation study of the NTN satellite constellation operating in the S- and L-bands was conducted to compare the channel availability time with and without the Doppler frequency shift compensator. The obtained estimates made it possible to analyze the problems of using commercially available smartphones already operating in 5G networks for communication through such channels and the impact of Doppler frequency shift on them.
