Several studies showed sotalol efficacy for reduction of atrial fibrillation and maintenance of sinus rhythm, comparable to amiodarone. In long-term monitoring, sotalol is less effective than amiodarone, but has a better safety profile. In addition, sotalol and amiodarone are major antiarrhythmics applied for the secondary prevention of sudden cardiac death.</p>
Кроме того, соталол, как и амиодарон, является основным антиаритмиком, применяющимся для вторичной профилактики внезапной сердечной смерти.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>cardiac arrhythmia</kwd><kwd>atrial fibrillation</kwd><kwd>sudden death</kwd><kwd>sotalol</kwd><kwd>amiodarone</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>аритмии сердца</kwd><kwd>фибрилляция предсердий</kwd><kwd>внезапная смерть</kwd><kwd>соталол</kwd><kwd>амиодарон</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Шубик Ю. В.
