It is emphasized that high cardioselektive BAB, such as bisoprolol, have no negative adverse effects of first generation BAB and can be widely used in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, including hypertension. The results of numerous clinical studies confirming the high antihypertensive efficacy of bisoprolol and its favorable safety profile, including patients with carbohydrate metabolism disorders and broncho-obstructive pathology.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Обсуждаются проблемы, связанные с применением бета-адреноблокаторов (БАБ) при эссенциальной артериальной гипертензии (АГ); в частности, рассматриваются возможности использования этих препаратов у лиц с множественными метаболическими факторами риска, включая метаболический синдром и его компоненты. Подчеркивается, что высококардиоселективные БАБ, такие как бисопролол, лишены негативных побочных эффектов БАБ первого поколения и могут широко использоваться при лечении сердечно-сосудистых заболеваний, включая АГ.
