In terms of secondary prevention of IS and patient's quality of life improvement, well-founded pathogenic management of patients experienced acute cerebral circulation disorder at out-patient stage is the most significant and economically justified. Current principles of treatment of patients with IS at out-patient stage based on competent and individualized antihypertensive therapy, lipid-lowering therapy, correction of the manifestations of diabetes mellitus, and antithrombotic therapy. This article provides an overview of the main classes of drugs used for stroke secondary prevention.</p>
В статье приводится обзор основных классов препаратов, используемых с целью вторичной профилактики инсульта.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>Ischemic stroke</kwd><kwd>secondary prevention</kwd><kwd>antihypertensive therapy</kwd><kwd>antiplatelets</kwd><kwd>anticoagulants</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>Ишемический инсульт</kwd><kwd>вторичная профилактика</kwd><kwd>гипотензивная терапия</kwd><kwd>антиагреганты</kwd><kwd>антикоагулянты</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Инсульт.
