In 1995, a program Global Initiative for Asthma (GINA) combining the results of various studies on the diagnosis and treatment of asthma was developed. Taking into account the recommendations of GINA-2006, the main objective of BA treatment is achievement of control of the disease, which provides absent or minimally expressed symptoms, no limitations in daily activity, no or minimal need for emergency medications, and extremely low frequency of exacerbations. The article reviews current approaches to the treatment of BA.</p>
В статье рассматриваются современные подходы к лечению БА.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>GINA</kwd><kwd>bronchial asthma</kwd><kwd>GINA</kwd><kwd>SMART strategy</kwd><kwd>leukotriene antagonists</kwd><kwd>monoclonal antibodies against IgE</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>бронхиальная астма</kwd><kwd>стратегия SMART</kwd><kwd>антагонисты лейкотриенов</kwd><kwd>моноклональные антитела против IgE</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Masoli M, Fabian D, Holt S, et al.
