The features of AVT and the difficulties of treatment of such patients, including preparing for a liver transplant operation, are discussed. It is emphasized that patients with compensated liver cirrhosis (Child-Turcotte-Pugh score = 5), particularly with initial signs of portal hypertension - are the only category of this group of patients entitled to AVT in accordance with all the modern guidelines, when AVT is targeted to achieve of sustained virological response.</p>
ч. с начальными признаками портальной гипертензии, когда в качестве цели ПВТ преследуется достижение стойкого вирусологического ответа.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>HCV-infection</kwd><kwd>liver cirrhosis</kwd><kwd>antiviral therapy</kwd><kwd>pegylated interferon-α</kwd><kwd>ribavirin</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>HCV-инфекция</kwd><kwd>цирроз печени</kwd><kwd>противовирусная терапия</kwd><kwd>пегилированный интерферон α</kwd><kwd>рибавирин</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Brown R.S.
