Adequate empirical antibiotic therapy plays defininge role in the successful outcome of NP. Carbapenems (imipenem/cilastatin, meropenem, doripenem) are recommended as first-line therapy for advanced NP and/or risk factors for multi-resistant microorganisms. This review is aimed to summarize data for the use of various carbapenems in the treatment of NP, their comparative clinical and pharmacoeconomic efficiency.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>Нозокомиальная пневмония (НП) является одной из самых частых внутрибольничных инфекций и занимает среди них первое место по смертности. Определяющую роль в благоприятном исходе НП играет адекватная эмпирическая антибактериальная терапия. Карбапенемы (имипенем/циластатин, меропенем, дорипенем) рекомендованы в качестве терапии первой линии при поздней НП и/или наличии факторов риска полирезистентной микрофлоры.
