It was shown that the combination of Avastin with chemotherapy significantly improves the control of tumor growth and improves time to progression, without increasing overall survival in metastatic gastric cancer. However, adding Avastin to chemotherapy has showed distinct advantages in patients with certain morphological types of tumors. In cancer of the pancreas, encouraging results of phase II trials have not been confirmed in a randomized trial, but the latter has identified serum markers predicting effectiveness of chemotherapy in combination with Avastin.</p>
При раке поджелудочной железы обнадеживающие результаты испытаний II фазы не были подтверждены в рандомизированном исследовании, однако в рамках последнего были выделены маркеры, уровень которых в сыворотке позволяет прогнозировать эффективность химиотерапии в сочетании с Авастином.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>gastric cancer</kwd><kwd>pancreatic cancer</kwd><kwd>bevacizumab</kwd><kwd>Avastin</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>рак желудка</kwd><kwd>рак поджелудочной железы</kwd><kwd>бевацизумаб</kwd><kwd>Авастин</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Трякин А.А.
