Understanding the immunological and pathogenic features of the disease led to the identification of different BA phenotypes and confirmed the need for expanding the choice of available therapeutic approaches. The results of the study involving 25 patients with uncontrolled severe atopic asthma showed that combination therapy (inhaled corticosteroids/ long-acting β2-agonists + montelukast 10 mg) for 24 weeks significantly optimizes clinical and functional control of the disease, and partly improves control of airway inflammation.</p>
Результаты проведенного исследования с участием 25 пациентов с неконтролируемым тяжелым течением атопической БА показали, что комбинированная терапия (ингаляционные кортикостероиды/длительно действующие β2-агонисты + монтелукаст 10 мг) в течение 24 недель позволяет значительно оптимизировать клинико-функциональный контроль заболевания, а также отчасти улучшать контроль воспаления дыхательных путей.</p></trans-abstract><kwd-group xml:lang="en"><kwd>control of bronchial asthma</kwd><kwd>phenotypes</kwd><kwd>pharmacotherapy</kwd></kwd-group><kwd-group xml:lang="ru"><kwd>контроль бронхиальной астмы</kwd><kwd>фенотипы</kwd><kwd>фармакотерапия</kwd></kwd-group></article-meta></front><body></body><back><ref-list><ref id="B1"><label>1.</label><mixed-citation>Beasley R.
