The article presents the results of the evaluation of association of heartburn in children with the presence of esophageal and gastroduodenal pathologies in parents. Epidemiological screening for gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) was performed using crosssectional method in 328 school children (163 boys and 165 girls) and 529 parents (256 men and 273 women). The results of the clinical examination were recorded in a questionnaire for the evaluation of GERD in the Mayo Clinic. Esophagogastroduodenoscopy was performed in 110 children and 279 adults. It was found that the prevalence of heartburn in school children is closely associated with the presence of heartburn, indigestion, esophagitis and peptic ulcer disease in parents. Thus, identification of esophageal and gastroduodenal pathologies in parents is the basis for gastroenterological examination and, if necessary, treatment of GERD in children.

Представлены результаты исследования ассоциации изжоги у детей с наличием патологии пищевода и гастродуоденальной зоны у родителей. Эпидемиологический скрининг гастроэзофагеальной рефлюксной болезни (ГЭРБ) осуществлен одномоментным (поперечным) методом 328 детям школьного возраста (163 мальчиков и 165 девочек) и 529 родителям (256 мужчин и 273 женщины). Результаты клинического осмотра регистрировались в анкете клиники Мэйо для изучения ГЭРБ. Эзофагогастродуоденоскопия была выполнена 110 детям и 279 взрослым лицам. Было установлено, что распространенность изжоги у детей школьного возраста тесно ассоциирована с наличием изжоги, диспепсии, язвенной болезни и эзофагита у родителей. Таким образом, выявление патологии желудка и пищевода у родителей служит основанием для гастроэнтерологического обследования и при необходимости - лечения ГЭРБ у детей.
