The possibilities of antihypertensive therapy, in particular, the combination of perindopril with indapamide in the correction of cognitive impairments in arterial hypertension and their pathogenetic mechanisms are discussed.</p></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="ru"><p>В статье приведен клинический случай, иллюстрирующий улучшение когнитивных функций, увеличение мозгового кровотока, снижение индекса массы миокарда левого желудочка на фоне лечения пациентки с ранее нелеченной неосложненной артериальной гипертензией фиксированной комбинацией ингибитора ангиотензинпревращающего фермента периндоприла аргинина с диуретиком индапамидом.
